Job Description

Our client, a national manufacturing firm with HQ in Illinois, is in search of a Regional Sales Manager to manage an existing customer base while continuing to expand it through new business development. This company is comprised of multiple divisions located across the US, each with a different product line and manufacturing process. As Regional Sales Manager you will cover a multi state area to advance sales strategy within the forging and casting markets as well as handle one employee and distributors. 

This established territory will require maintenance of the existing customer base while focusing on new programs, applications, and customers within the forging market.

A few responsibilities include:
Organizing and reporting daily itinerary, weekly customer visits with existing/new customers
Weekly review of product line quotes and orders, CRM: follow up, competition, forecasting
Annual sales forecast per industry, analysis of budget vs actual sales revenue within territory
Coordination with Inside Sales, quarterly customer visits with Inside Sales Representative and Inside Sales Manager
Explain features/chemistry benefits of our products, quarterly technical customer visits

Job Requirements:
2-3 years minimum sales experience and considerable knowledge of machining large forgings or for supplying large custom forges.
Should be knowledgeable of Aerospace tooling, forging components, mining equipment, power generation equipment, oil & gas products etc. 
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Progressive career experience with statistics supporting success.
